• Always remove surface dirt and mud before using care products, this can be done by brushing
• It is much more effective to apply a few light coats of conditioner than one heavy coat
• This cream can double as a cleaning cream for sensitive leather
• To avoid creams settling into stitching and creases (especially on textured or pebbled leather), we recommend using the 1909 Fine Polishing Brush or the Polishing Brush for bigger areas and the Application Brush for smaller areas like handles and straps
• To achieve a high shine, buff the material vigorously using short, even strokes. Brisk side-to-side motions that come from the wrist, rather than the elbows, is most effective. The heat generated from these strokes create that high shine. While any clean lint-free cloth can be used, a proper brush cannot be replaced by anything else
• For used items: follow this sequence: (1) Clean, (2) Care, then (3) Waterproof. For brand new items, proceed to (3).
• For renewed shine and moisture, re-apply regularly
• For a travel-friendly and portable alternative, use Collonil’s Jack’s Shoe (and Bag) Wipes. It is the same cream in wipes form
